God dammit! 40 minutes of my life down the drain! I’m playing Persona 4 Golden having a blast till I get up to Shadow Teddie. He’s not hard, in fact he’s pretty easy(I’m level 39). The only problem is the damn thing has too much health and the fight drags on way too much. Just when I’m about to land the finishing blow he lands a critical on the main character and strikes him again killing him in the process. I just turned off the game at that point. Damn man, that shit takes too much time. It wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t game over as soon as the main character dies, I hate when games do that. Like I don’t have 3 other squad mates who can’t bring me back, hell, Yukkiko has a spell to bring allies back to life. It’s not like the character is dead once they’re out of HP like in Dragon Quest, cause right after a fight any KO’d allies have 1 HP right after the battle. ._. I’m going to go watch TV or something, I’ll just beat him tomorrow.
I woke up early to go to school today to go fix their error and they were closed… Two hours I wasted going over there just to go back home… I’m supposed to fix this by Monday or else I’m assed out, but monday IS the only day I can do it because they sent me this shit so fucking late and they don’t work Friday-Sunday! I could’ve used that time to go to the gym or something but instead I wasted a pointless trip. Fuck them, seriously they can all fuck off. I’m going to go play some good ol’ video games to cool off. I’m in love with Persona 4 Golden, it’s just oozing with style. Freaking love the soundtrack. I don’t think I’m going to beat Persona 4 Arena, it’s basically two genres I’m not too fond of, visual novels and fighting games. Shame too since I’m enjoying the story. I think I’m just going to read an in depth summary of it.
Oh my Jesus the landlord is such a frustrating man. My room has been having this problem for whats going to be two years in a couple of months and it STILL does this! Every time we tell him about it what I assume he does is simply “fixes” the spot with the problem when he goes to the roof and that’s obviously not working. He needs to redo the whole fucking roof or something, apparently before we moved in here the ceiling in my room has collapsed before. I’m a really light sleeper so I had to share a bed with my brother, that dripping sound was beyond frustrating. So besides that little issue, starting today all my friends are officially employed! Looks like I’m the only one who still doesn’t have a job. I should change that once Summer is over, I’m going to be 20 pretty soon and don’t have much experience working outside the family business(which is something I want to get out of.) I’m still waiting for an email from Brooklyn College telling me if I got in or not. I’d assume I’m getting in no problem since I definitely have the grades for it but I need to pick out classes for the Fall semester, I have no doubt that I’ll have a shitty schedule since I still haven’t gotten to apply. I just hope it’s not too shitty. The good news is that Brooklyn College is a lot closer to home than my previous school was. It took me about an hour to get home when I went over there compared to the nearly two hour ride home from my previous college. Also getting Persona 4: Golden today. Hopefully it arrives early so I can play it!
Since I’m getting a new Vita game today I attempted to beat Magusar again in Soul Sacrifice. When I originally went up against him he killed me quickly, but when I tried again he’s really easy. I destroyed him, man. Only had to heal like twice and that was it. I liked the ending, it was pretty tragic, but that makes sense since the game’s lore isn’t a happy one. I’m planning on beating Magusar again to watch the save ending and see how that turns out. Also, just cause I beat the final boss doesn’t mean I’m done. Still got a bunch of Avalon Pacts I haven’t completed plus multiplayer is a blast to play.
Now that school is done I’ve just been relaxing and playing some games. Although not as much as I usually do since E3 was this week, overall it was a great show this year. Plus, I’ve been busy going to the gym, trying to get in better shape. So far I’ve gotten around to beating Bastion and stealthy completed Sly Cooper 4 Thieves in Time. Sly Cooper’s final boss was trash, the entire fight was quick time events. I despise those with a passion, hopefully we see less of those next-gen. I’m still playing through Soul Sacrifice, I’ve been neglecting my poor Vita(and so has Sony if E3 is anything to go by). All that I got left to do is beat Magusar, story wise that is. I still got a bunch of multiplayer quest that I haven’t beaten. I noticed a lot of people online only do sacrifice, it’s pretty annoying since I’m trying to go 99/1, but oh well.
I’ve ordered me a new game too, Persona 4: Golden. I pretty much already know what happens plot wise since I’ve seen the anime but I hear it’s a great game even if you already know the plot. I hope it’s not too grindy like Persona 3 was. I mean I’ll still beat it, it’s just that if it is, it’ll take me a lot longer. So since I’m getting Golden I thought I should try to beat Persona 4: Arena. I’ve been having it since Black Friday and I only bought it for the story mode, I don’t really like fighting games so I don’t care for the online or any of that. While I’ll be playing that on my PS3 I’ll also be playing Max Payne on PC. By the way, Max Payne is HARD! Holy shit, man. It’s so hard I had to switch the game over to easy. I really suck at shooting games. Normally I like to only play two games at a time but I figured what the hell. They’re all different genres so when I get bored with playing a fighting game I’ll switch on over to a shooter, and once I get bored with that I’ll go to an action RPG; you know, mix it up a bit. Oh, I’m also going to get my Galaxy Note 8.0 tomorrow as well! Hopefully the store has them in stock. Another thing is that I’ve noticed all my friends are nerds. They never want to do anything, they’d just rather stay home all day and play games. I love games as much as the next guy but damn, its Summer, let’s go out and have some fun too. Note to self: Make some new friends.
