Whats Going On

Now that school is done I’ve just been relaxing and playing some games. Although not as much as I usually do since E3 was this week, overall it was a great show this year. Plus, I’ve been busy going to the gym, trying to get in better shape. So far I’ve gotten around to beating Bastion and stealthy completed Sly Cooper 4 Thieves in Time. Sly Cooper’s final boss was trash, the entire fight was quick time events. I despise those with a passion, hopefully we see less of those next-gen. I’m still playing through Soul Sacrifice, I’ve been neglecting my poor Vita(and so has Sony if E3 is anything to go by). All that I got left to do is beat Magusar, story wise that is. I still got a bunch of multiplayer quest that I haven’t beaten. I noticed a lot of people online only do sacrifice, it’s pretty annoying since I’m trying to go 99/1, but oh well.

I’ve ordered me a new game too, Persona 4: Golden. I pretty much already know what happens plot wise since I’ve seen the anime but I hear it’s a great game even if you already know the plot. I hope it’s not too grindy like Persona 3¬† was. I mean I’ll still beat it, it’s just that if it is, it’ll take me a lot longer. So since I’m getting Golden I thought I should try to beat Persona 4: Arena. I’ve been having it since Black Friday and I only bought it for the story mode, I don’t really like fighting games so I don’t care for the online or any of that. While I’ll be playing that on my PS3 I’ll also be playing Max Payne on PC. By the way, Max Payne is HARD! Holy shit, man. It’s so hard I had to switch the game over to easy. I really suck at shooting games. Normally I like to only play two games at a time but I figured what the hell. They’re all different genres so when I get bored with playing a fighting game I’ll switch on over to a shooter, and once I get bored with that I’ll go to an action RPG; you know, mix it up a bit. Oh, I’m also going to get my Galaxy Note 8.0 tomorrow as well! Hopefully the store has them in stock. Another thing is that I’ve noticed all my friends are nerds. They never want to do anything, they’d just rather stay home all day and play games. I love games as much as the next guy but damn, its Summer, let’s go out and have some fun too. Note to self: Make some new friends.

Super Smash Bros Wii U Mario Vs. Mega Man

Some gameplay that I found on a forum. It looks like Mario is keeping that shitty FLOOD move from Brawl. Lets hope its actually useful this time around. The game is looking absolutely gorgeous, I thought the art direction in Brawl was amazing but this takes the cake, I mean sure it isn’t as detailed as Brawl, but HD man, and the lighting is stunning.

3 PSP Games Worth Checking Out

Hey guys, sorry about not posting anything in the last couple of days, had a mid term plus I need to finish up the first part of my transfer application, so I haven’t had much time to play lately(must play more Ni No Kuni!!). Lately I’ve found myself playing some of my old PSP PSN games on the train. So I figured I’d share three of my favorite PSP games that are available one the PSN, note that these are also playable on the Vita as well; which is the system I play them on.

3) Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy

This is a prequel to the original Dissidia and features more characters as well. While the story is quite… confusing, the combat is the true meat of the game. Think of it as the Smash Bros of Final Fantasy, and just like Final Fantasy you can customize your equipment, even your moveset! The only disappointing thing about this game is that Cloud doesn’t have a Zack Fair alternate costume -Zack fanboy-.

2) Gods Eater Burst

This game is one of my newer purchases, so far I’m about 25 hours in if i recall correctly. This game is at heart a Monster Hunter competitor; or clone as many like to label it. Now for me I never found much joy out of Monster Hunter, not that it was a bad game. It’s just I’d get bored of playing after a mission or two, but its different with Gods Eater. I guess its because theirs a story, an ultimate goal you can say. Plus, its more action packed. Basically every mission is like fighting one of the bigger baddies that’s in Monster Hunter, which is great.

1) Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days

Without a doubt this is the game I’ve invested¬† the most hours into on my PSP, the only game that even comes slightly close is the original Disgaea. If you don’t know what this game is about, it’s a strategy RPG with some of the most quirkiest characters I’ve ever seen, which is what keeps me hooked on the series. This game is all about leveling up, you even enter stages in your equipment to level them up as well.¬† According to my save file I’ve already invested 162 hours into Dark Hero Days, and the game is only $20. Some might not enjoy the grinding, hell, I didn’t like it at first neither but the story really keeps you playing.
